KORG nanoKONTROL2 knobs issue

Hi All :)

I bought used nanoKONTROL2 and can't get correct values from knobs. All sliders work fine.
The issue is when I turn knob I get 'random' not-linear values, for example in the maximum/last position ot the knob I've got value 10 instead of 255.
It's really strange and cause it's my first time with QLC+ & nanoKONTROL2 I'm a little confused.
When I configure any knob for the 'Strobe' knob in 'LED PAR 64' solo frame I can't get fine strobe changes.
I use 'Auto detect' to connect to external inputs, my nanoKONTROL2 is configured on Universe 4 for input and feedback
Any ideas?
Do I something wrong or is the nano defect?

I opened your workspace on my (openSUSE linux) laptop running QLC+ (a recent GIT Qt5 compiled version), with a NanoKontrol2 connected to universe 4 just the same way you describe, assigned its knob 1 to the LED PAR 64 Strobe knob and it worked just as smoothly as usual, so in my opinion the problem is clearly somewhere in your system's data flow or the NanoKontol2 is indeed broken,

On Linux there are several MIDI monitor programs available which i use to check received commands when i'm in doubt whether some hardware works or not... i'm using kmidimon or ardour's MIDI tracer window (when working with the ardour DAW, of course), For Windows there are MIDI-OX or http://obds.free.fr/midimon/, for example, for Mac systems i don't know but i'm sure there are similar tools available...

I hope this helps,

Edgar

Hi Edgar,

thank You very much for reply.
I'm afraid You are right - the controller is broken. Now I can't get useable responses even from few sliders.
I have to checkt it out with software You describe.
Thanks :)

Piotr

Sorry for 2nd post, but..

Edgar - You saved 'my nanoKONTROL2' ;-)
I checked it out with MidiMonitor - knobs and some sliders worked not well. Then I downloaded Korg controlling software from their website, upload the 'factory default configuration' into the nanoKONTROL2 and now evertything is OK.

Thank a lot :)
