Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Hi All
Have just downloaded QLC+ and I'm just getting things up and running with a homemade open dmx interface (http://stevenbreuls.com/2013/05/diy-usb ... -under-10/) and a couple of generic LED pars. More of an audio guy so just getting my head round some lighting. Everything's up and running nicely just a few questions whilst I get to grips with QLC, apologies if they've already been answered.

Is it possible to assign a faders etc via midi outside of the virtual console. E.g I was in the function tab setting up scenes, I set 3 channel groups to control all the pars R,G,B respectively. Whilst programming all the scenes with different colours it would have been nice and quicker to have used 3 real faders here assigned to the RGB channel groups.

Within the virtual desk, is it possible to set buttons to trigger functions but also kill any other functions that are active when pressed, so only one function is go at any time?

I have programmed a range of scenes using all my 6 pars, and then also set some chasers up. I'd like to set up a simple interface using the virtual desk to access all of these. Theres only 10 of so chases which is easy using a button array. However there's quite a few scenes split up into about 5 folders containing around 10 individual scenes (and more to come). Is it possible to set up an array of buttons, with a control to choose the folder of scenes and then those buttons get assigned to that folders scenes?

I hope that all makes sense, thanks in advance :)
