In additive mode, the matrix effect will still be visible over countless functions/chasers on the timeline, but in subtractive mode, it will only be visible on top of the functions that it triggers immediately after (overlaps). Any that trigger AFTER the matrix will not allow the matrix effect to be visible. Essentially, to get a subtractive effect in my current project would require adding a new instance of the matrix for every single function in the timeline, whereas with additive, one matrix with a long duration would suffice. (using 4.10.4, Windows 10)

To see it in action, demo workspace attached. Just run the show and watch what the fixture does in DMX view.

Sorry if this should technically be a show manager bug rather than function. Could be either really.
