Chases not showing in right area

Interesting thing is happening to me. I have no chases in my file, but I do have a lot of sequences (all of which are under scenes). Under Functions they show where they are suppose to, but in Virtual Console when I go to select them, any that I cloned show up under the Chases heading. Weird. Ideas as to what is causing this?
