What do you mean by "light out with the movement"?

I think he means something like "move in black" so the lights stay off during movement.
Due to the fact I do not often work with moving heads, I'm not able to provide further help.

Use virtual console add a button with shutter open and your colors and add your saved effects and that will do it

Sorry I think I worded the problem badly. What I meant is while I can get a fixture to automatically move, like a chase, I can not seem to be able to connect a scene, a button or anything to control the light output, prism, gobo etc. So it dances in different directions with me not being able to make it output anything. What am I missing here? Thanks so much for any help.

There are a couple ways you can achieve this:
What I like to do is make a collection of the EFX, color scene, gobo scene, whatever and just add that to a button in VC to make everything happen in one button press.
You could also add a button in VC for the EFX, add a button for the color, and add a button for the shutter 'open' and a slider for the dimmer, but that is just alot more work and makes the process slower live. Thats why I just set up everything in one collection and add a dimmer slider and its fast and easy to do.
