New Fixture

Here you can share your fixture definitions with the community
Massimo Callegari

If you read the Fixtures sharing guidelines and apparently you haven't, you will find out that gobos are a delicate matter as most of them are covered by copyrights.

In your fixtures you used gobo pictures you donwloaded from somewhere and moreover you used absolute paths pointing to your computer.
This is totally NOT OK when sharing a fixture. So I rejected them.

QLC+ comes with 870 bundled gobos. If you use them you are sure they are OK.
If you don't use them, I need the written permission of the gobo creator to include them in QLC+.

Ok for the rights to the images even gobos though I doubt they are protected.
But if I understand, I must find the equivalent in the gobo image library supplied with the program?
Massimo Callegari

That would be great, yes
RODOLFO

Ok this is changed, can you tell me what is wrong with the Laserworld-RS400G ?
Massimo Callegari

Nothing. I haven't had the time to review it yet.

Ok Ciao Massimo,

I noticed a problem with publishing an event bar fixture
Event bar 4 x 15w White Mode 9 channels ok each projector are the same movement. And with the Mode 28 channels the FX function uses the first Pan & Titl in the channels.

I solved the problem : I create a 7-channels mode and I use 4 X event bar fixture.
But if one day a projector using more motion, it will pose a problem to use the FX function.
I hope you understand the problem posed.
For example this one:

Rodolfo,

as for "multiple movement" fixtures: just add as many heads as needed and add related channels to the respective head (look at ADJ Event Bar definition for an example).

Event bar: create 4 heads, assing each group of 7 channels to one group.

I'd suggest that you name them Pan 2, Pan 3, Pan 4 etc. to make clearer to which group do they belong. Also I'd prefer English names, but that's me :)

For Shapeshifter: the issue is more difficult, there are two possibilities (I'm not sure if both work):
- create 6 heads, and assign related subpanel channels to each head, leaving global channels unassigned to any head (this may not work)
- create 7 head, assing global PAN/TILT channels to the first head and subpanel channels to heads 2..7 (alternatively, you can make the global head the last one).
This allows you to work with the fixture.

Thank you for that answer I will try

Hi Rodolfo,

I've made a few changes according to the attached user manual. NOTE: Dot rotation has a missing range of missing DMX values (128-191). I don't have this device so can't check what these values do.

Regards,

This fixture is not good.
Author is wrong.
Channels are almost all dimmers. Give them a meaningful group.
Physical information is missing.
Mode name is wrong.
