Hello. I am relatively new to QLC+ (started around December).
I appreciate your insight in advance.
I'm attaching the show file with most recent edits.
A few things I'm hoping to accomplish
A bug: Although newer Chauvet FXPar9 with firmware 2.01 works fine for slider for dimming, but for lights with older firmware (2.0) same master brightness slider has no effect. None of the other sliders control the master brightness. The slider moves, but nothing happens on the older version of the lights. Even having just a single fixture directly connected, new one works fine, old one refuses to dim via master brightness.
My virtual console workflow is roughly the attached file currently, (lots to do still. Would like some strobe functionality.
I installed an updated QLC today, but I have not tested it out, as I'm currently on work travel without access to the lights. After updating, the color scheme changed, so I adjusted the background some on the show. I'm attaching both, but functionality should be pretty similar between the 2 show files.
As far as a hardware device, I'm using the APC40 (OG 1st edition) for tactile control. Not sure the best way to have like multiple pages for different purposes?
In grid in upper left
Row 1 - each of these being for FXPar9 RGB matrix. I want clicking another button in that row to disable the previous button
Same with row 2. If an existing button in row 2 is toggled, pressing a different button should disable the prior one
Rows 2 3 and 4 are for the same 2 moving head lights; each of these ideally should have similar effect of toggling a new one un-toggles prior one
Standalone bottom row is for movement of moving heads. Again, these should toggle as above
However, I'm noticing that selecting a new button in main grid stops the moving heads movement.
I'd also like to design something to have 2 moving heads act like a spotlight and follow XY pad (both moving heads being able to initially calibrate to where they're pointed at same spot.
Another quirk, starting / stopping show has the 2 shehds moving heads spin around once with white light, which I'd also like to fix.
I did add some additional functionality attempts that have not made their way into the virtual desk.
Assistance is greatly appreciated!
