Hi everyone,

I just started using QLC+, and I'm trying to build a Show following a song.
In my "Show" panel, I have set "Time division > BPM 4/4 > my bpm", and I would love to be able to set hold duration of my chasers' steps based on a number of beats instead of time.
I haven't found a way to achieve that: did I miss something obvious?

Thanks a lot for your help :)

Welcome to the community,

QLC+ 4 does not count the beats; hence, we work with timing. A quick conversion results: bpm/60 * beats (bars). For musicians, this is not ideal...
In v5, the engine is BPM-minded.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

Thanks. I'm glad to know that I haven't missed something, but a bit disappointed 😢
Do you recommend trying v5 instead? Is it "mature" enough?
