Flash Functions get stuck

Sometimes when I stop operate mode and go back to design mode (or even just switch away from the virtual console) while a flash function is on it gets stuck on and I can never "un-press" it until I actually go and press it again. We control our lights through midi so going and interactively pressing a button on the VC is something we have to go manually do when these buttons get stuck.

I haven't found a single workaround for this so I thought I'd ask the experts...
