N100 Mini PC

I have a mini PC based on the intel N100 processor (4 cores 4 threads) with 16GB memory and a 500GB M.2 SSD running Windows 11. This is a low-power low-end processor that is barely faster than an RPi 5. I know the RPi version of QLC+ has been "optimized" for running QLC+ on not-so-powerful Pi CPUs, and the implication is that the Windows version does not have (and usually does not need) any such optimizations. Do you think I will run into issues running the Windows version on this type of low-end PC?

QLC+ can and has run on many potato systems.

It all depends on what you want to achieve. You have enough braking power to handle at least ten universes of light -easy-.

Thank you. I guess my question comes down to how "optimized" is the Pi version is relative to the Windows version. As I said, this mini PC is only very slightly faster than a Pi 5 according to standard benchmarks. If the Pi version of QLC+ is twice as efficient (half as processor intensive) as the version running on Windows, then I would expect QLC+ on this Windows system to have far worse performance than I would get on a Pi 5. That's what I was driving at. But since the Pi version of QLC+ is intended to run well on earlier Pi models, I think I can safely assume I will have no issues.
BTW, this mini PC (BeeLink S12 Pro) was only $159 with black Friday discount (Including Windows 11 Pro). Very price competitive to a similarly configured Pi5 system, without the effort of putting it together!

The compilation process for the pi version doesn't differ from any other OS, as far as I know...
The QLC+ Pi installation image is built from RaspberryPi Os Lite, it doesn't provide aa graphical desktop environment, so it's optimized in installation size, but not in computing power.
You can just as well take a standard RPi OS and install the debian package you also get when paying for the QLC+ image, or even the RPi OS distro provided one.
I've used RPi 3 and later 4 model B and RPi 5 with upstream RPi OS 64bit, Xorg, LXQt and QLC+ 4 successfully for theater shows with dozens of dimmers and LED fixtures, audio and/or video output. It's amazing what you can do, it can just sometimes be a bit laggy (the RPi 4 and 5 naturally less so) in keyboard/mouse operation and screen updates.
