Does anybody had the same issue ?

I created several shows (around 12) with videos (mp4) at an older Intel NUC PC and put them all into a chaser.
I started them with auto-start and used the HDMI and the VGA to display 2 Videos simultaneously.
It worked with my USB-2Opto for DMX.

The shows were divided into several shows because it was easier to handle. I also added "black" from a jpg and streched it to a few seconds because the videos had not the same length each time. This held the projectors dark the whole time.

After the chaser had finished the first "round" and was going to repeat the complete show both displays are going into stand-by. I wasn't able to reactivate them with a mouse movement. The video itself was playing furthermore - i heard the sound - and the DMX also.

I had to restart the PC every 20min....

All energy settings at windows were set to max. No shut-down off hdd, USB or some other things. "Full-power" the whole time.

If you're curious: It was for Halloween: 3 pumpkins were singing and in the background were zombies dancing and having fun and vice verse. And some pneumatics (hands, skeletons.....) via DMX-Dimmer to solenoind valves...

It might be the internal settings of your monitors that shut down after a while (Energy Star compliant)... I'd look over there.

It were 2 projectors (ACER and Sanyo). I used them since years with raspberry pi to do that and never had that topic. I think that i made a mistake at the chaser. But i don't know what this could cause this. Seems to me that it was every time the chaser get's back to start.

I cannot figure out why restarting a chaser would cause a projector to reset—that makes no sense to me.
