Hello Guys! I am new in this world, I would like to create some effects to control led wristbands. They have 4 channels, 1: shutter, 2: red, 3: Green, 4:Blue. I created the fixture and it is working fine, but I was just able to turn them on, switch colors and shutter speed... I would really appreciate any help on creating more effects, such as flashing, multi colors, scene to change from one color to another, manage the speed of flashing, and see what we can do with these leds...
Thanks in advanced!
Pablo

Could you tell us the model of fixture you are using? Maybe even a link?sopaul wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 2:53 pm Hello Guys! Your best bet will be an RGB Matrix, but how are you communicating with the bands? I thought these used IR emitter moving head lights.

I can access the fixture definition, but I see you made the same mistake as many people, ignoring the documentation about it:
Do NOT set anything for "Acts On" in Mode editor, unless you know why!
Other than that, yes to RGB Matrix, and I'd also try to create a few scenes, add them to a chaser and create an endless looping VC cuelist.

If you use the Fixture Validator (https://www.qlcplus.org/fixture_validator.php) it will tell you that the dimensions are also missing.
QLC+ uses those dimensions for building the 2D View: a 200 x 200 mm Fixture will be twice as big as one that is 100 x 100 mm and accordingly a 0 x 0 mm Fixture will not show up at all in the Monitor.

Thanks all for your replies! I created a new fixture without any value in "Acts On", I put it in the same location: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/... sp=sharing , also I tested it in the Fixture Validator and finally I got it validated.
How can I do a single slider to control the strobo speed for all, odd, even, and also do the same for colours, all, odd, even. These wristbands have 10 different dmx addresses already set, I cant modified them, but the manufactor sent from 001 to 037.
Thanks again all for your help!!

The easiest way to get you started is to use the Function wizard https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/functi ... ion-wizard.
Next step could be to read this thread https://www.qlcplus.org/forum/viewtopic ... 018#p68018 and check the examples.
If you change the starting adresses of the Fixtures to 2, 6, 10, 14, ..... etc, those examples (except 2.3) will work with your Fixtures (they do not use the build in Strobe of your Fixture, but you can use the QLC+ Strobe function instead).
So if you start with example 2.2, change the adresses and reduce the number of Fixtures to 10, you can create yourself a Jump Start.
