Using Switch Joycons as inout device

Hi all, I've been trying to get a pair of joycons working as input devices, mostly just for the joysticks and because it's what I had lying around. just wondering if anyone has made an input profile for these or if anyone has any idea what communication protocol they use, I'm guessing it's something weird and proprietary. any help much appreciated, thanks.
