Hello,

I am having issues with using QLC+ 4.13.1 (and an earlier version as well) where the program will crash when controlling through the web interface.
QLX file used and Full crash report attached.
I have no issues when triggering scenes using MIDI, only using the Virtual Console accessed through the web interface using an iPad or a Mac using safari.
QLC+ is running on a M1 MacBook Pro, macOS 14.5, launched from terminal with -w parameter. Last gig it crashed 3 times. Tough to reproduce as it appears to be random, that is I am not aware of any button pressing sequence that guarantees an error.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I got the same problem! Enabling the web interface on Mac OS (Sonoma 14.6.1) does crash randomly within 1 hour. This is really annoying.

It looks like this has been an issue since 2021 and doesn't seem too urgent in spite of the fact the web interface is unusable because having the entire program crash during a show is not worth the risk. I don't really understand this.

Keep in mind this is free software developed by folks who do it out of love.

There are rough areas but overall it works well. If the feature set you need doesn't work well for your case, it may not be the project for you.

I know I've been seeking a fix for a crash I've been having. I hope one day it is solved.

I think in your complaint you forgot to mention that my last comment is from July 18th 2024 trying to move forward on the topic.
