Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Hey everyone,

We’re using QLC+ for our church, and I’ve tried to simplify for our volunteers as much as I can.

However, we are constantly plagued with users clicking the active scene again and all the lights going off.

I haven’t seen a preference to change the button behavior from “toggle” to “set”, that might not be a possibility.

Does anyone have any combination of virtual console settings that would possibly prevent this accidental blackout when the same scene is selected twice.

I’m going to start looking into the scripting.

Would it be possible to, when pressing a virtual console button, cue a script to check if the scene is currently active? Then, if not toggle that scene.

Both topics would be feature requests. A 'set and forget' behaviour is often requested. The same goes for a 'default' button inside a solo frame: if everything else is disabled, this default becomes active.
The scripting engine is unaware of what is running, so there is also a 'no' answer.
