So I’m new to all this , what I am trying to do is get my par lights to sync to my drums “I.e.” red flashes when I hit a snair. Blue when I hit a Tom. I have the drums all set up with a button for each one . I get the joystick on each one I hit. I have the par lights working through a Enttec open usb. The par lights work with the sliders in qlc+. But I can’t get them to sync . Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the community,
And your drum is a midi machine sending midi to QLC+? (Hence you see the blue joystick wiggling?)
With the sliders you mean Simple Desk sliders? If these are active (a red X) they overrule everything else. If you press all red 'X'-s and you go into produce mode, the midi signal will now be used as an internal input for your buttons.
Are these midi signals used as an external input for your buttons?
You might have to create an input profile.

Thanks for the info , so with that I now have no issues setting it up to an atom (midi drum simulator ) but when I hook it to my Alesia nitro max midi drum kit The input auto detect will not keep the button number in . I.e. I hit a drum and the input auto detect flashes the drum number and it disappears. Uggggg.. fyi the drum input channels start at 37000 and go up from there

Use the input profile with the wizard... https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/input-output/input-profilesDoc wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 9:58 pm Thanks for the info , so with that I now have no issues setting it up to an atom (midi drum simulator ) but when I hook it to my Alesia nitro max midi drum kit The input auto detect will not keep the button number in . But wait a minute ... We are talking MIDI right? A channel of 37000 and higher is __not__ MIDI (!) (unless MIDI 2.0). Or unless in OMNI mode.

Ya it’s a Alesia nitro max drum kit . There are a lot of functions and buttons/switches on the midi box. So I’m guessing that is why the channels are so hi but honestly I am clueless. I will check this when I get home from work today . But yes I use the wizard and when I hit a drum the wizard assigns a button with the channel . The channels the wizard assigns always start around 37000 . I.e. 370000,370001,370002 exc.If I edit the channel in any way of course it looses connection. Thank you again !

If you check the manual for the MIDI plugin (https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/plugins/midi), you will find:
So 37000 is Midi Note 7 (G-1) on MIDI channel 10 (if you start counting from 1).

.In OMNI mode, add 4096 * Channel number
