Hi there!

For all intents and purposes I "just" received technology ownership at my church, and have ran into a problem with our lights! The were working, then one day they stopped working. Any help with getting them back up would be great! I was not involved with the setup process, the ones who were, have since moved on so I am unable to ask troubleshooting questions. Thus my creation here!

From my understanding, "if the light on the box is green and blinking, everything is connected and working." I'm not sure how "standard" of a setup this is, so if it isn't, sorry for wasting your time! If it is standard, then once plugging it in and running the program, I SHOULD be able to adjust the lights, scenes, etc. but it does not respond. We only have 1 universe, that I know of.

I'm mostly looking for troubleshooting help because if we have a wiring issue, that's a whole other can of worms that I hope I don't have to open!

Hello,

start with describing your setup. How do you control your lights, how do you output DMX, how it is wired, what lights do you have, etc. If this is greek to you, post some pictures of the setup.

[moderator] please read the "community" section description before posting. It's definitely the wrong place to post a support request. Moving to the proper area.

If we, lighting enthusiasts, want to think with you, we need more info.
Even the term 'program' is ambiguous and leaves many question marks.

I suggest you take a piece of paper and denote every device, interface, etc., up to your dimmer stack or fixtures. Then, define each block with a name and type.
Only so we get the whole picture can we start thinking about culprits.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

A video of an explanation of the set up may help also. I would love to assist but I need to know more.

This community is great for troubleshooting.
