Some fixtures don't stop when they're no longer being called

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Hi,

I'm loving QLC+ I've managed to setup a bunch of DMX lights and they work amazingly, but I have one or two fixtures that don't stop when they're no longer being called.

In the attached file I have a 'laser sound mode' activation, this turns on when pressed, but does not turn off when not active. I have to press the 'stop all' function to get it to register.

Am I missing something in my setup?

thanks

We lack the L2500 fixture profile to see what goes wrong.
My eggs in the basket indicate that the channels are set to LTP (Latest Takes Priority) mode. In this mode, you need to give a zero value(s) to the channels involved to make it stop working.
The most straightforward workaround is to add a solo frame and include the 'start music scene' and 'stop music scene'.
However, since you are using an external MIDI controller, this solution may not be what you want, and a more complex approach is needed.

Hi GGGss, ok thats great, thank you.

MY stop all scene has all returning to zero, but this doesnt seem to work, so i need to use the stop all function.
Seems a bit weird

Please send in the custom fixture and your current show file so we can look.
