Button to go to the next step in a chaser

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

I tried to use a cue list, but I can't get an OSC message to respond to the prev/next cue.

So therefore, I tried to find a way to make a button that goes to the next step of the current selected chaser.
Or if that is not possible, to select a chaser AND the step (so not start at step 1 by default).

Is this possible?

I don't see any properties to make this possible, see screenshots below.

(sorry for the Dutch installation). Anyway here is the chaser I defined:

And here is where I select the button properties.

Maybe there is a possibility to script it but I see only a few commands possible in a script, which do not have any chaser related functions.
Besides, I'm a newbie, so maybe I misunderstand scripting at all.

You could watch this video: https://youtu.be/AtVj61ShJ2o?feature=shared.

It also tells you where you can download "the 30/60/90 channel templates". :)

Thanks for this info, however, I don't see anywhere in the video how to move to the next step in a chaser.
Btw, I set up the OSC comunication in QLC+ like described on the video (so that works). However, I don't have/use Touch OSC (I'm using GigPerformer to send OSC messages).

From 14:40 on he shows how to control the cuelist , which holds a chaser... but you can see that the tablet doesn't update the button matrix like the VC does

I guess "Button to go to the next step in a chaser" is the same as "Simple button to advance cuelist" (viewtopic.php?p=70325#p70325).

Yes, however not by moving a step forward, however, I already got a solution, thanks for that video though, it learnt me some things.

Thank you very much (Dankje!)

I couldn't get it to work in my own qxw file, however, the downloaded file worked, so it is possible.
I will when I have a bit more time use it in my own.

Again thanks!

I also want to create a "step by step" button. Did you succeed?

Groetjes ;-)
