Hi,
the Basic color tab is not very useful because it doesn't control the white channel and the grid of colors are not interesting, it opens always first causing the need of extra clicks and if you by mistake select a color you lose your data.
We could merge Basic tab with Full tab, in reality only the first 2 rows of the Basic tab are eventually needed, also one has anyway to switch to the Full tab to adjust the basic color selection to something more interesting - at least this it's true for me, I never use only one color channel and I like to see the color values.
An upgrade could be the possibility to have a custom color selection - that in theory should be accomplished by the palette system.
