Hi, I'am currently working on a project. Only problem out of nothing all my fixtures are gone. Normally i would have no problem with setting them again. Only problem we are talking about 6 universes of fixtures. Is there a way of getting them back. They are still there when i'am making scenes. only not in the fixture tab. I don't have a backup......

This is the hard way to learn that you allways need to make back ups.I don't have a backup......
It is also the moment to introduce some kind of Version Control (check this post: viewtopic.php?p=72852#p72852)
You can verify that your Fixtures are still there by opening your QXW file with an editor like Notepad and search for tags like "<Fixture>".They are still there when i'am making scenes.
If your Fixtures are still there, it is only a problem that they don't show up in your Fixture Manager window.
Try to switch between Fixture Groups and Channel Groups (tabs on top of the window), or try to Fold/Unfold your Universes (if you have a "<" in front of your Universe it is "Folded". Click on it to Unfold).
A QLC Workspace is like a Bob Ross painting: "it's your world, you can create whatever you want!"

Thanks for you answer Michel, I looked into what you said. When i look in my qlc file the fixtures are indeed there with a "<Fixture>" tagg, But when i am in the fixture window. It just gives the normal start screen with "Select a fixture in the list or click "Green plus button" to add fixtures". There are no tabs for me to switch or universes to fold or unfold (I added a picture of the tabs and also the QLC file )MichelSliepenbeek wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 10:54 amThis is the hard way to learn that you allways need to make back ups.I don't have a backup......

I suspect you dragged the vertical tab splitter all the way to the left so that it now sits at the window border.
Try to hover your mouse there and click/drag to the right and your Fixture and channel grpup tabs will reappear...
Same thing happened to me a few years ago for the right side when editing a Fixture group, I also got a hint on this forum after not finding it and asking here.
It's a pity that there's no visual clue when that happens, but I don't know how to prevent it from happening, in Qt...

Oh my god, Hahaha. Yes that was it. Real pity indeed that this is not indicated somewhere. Thanks a lot.
