Hi everyone.

I've been using QLC+ 4.1.2 for several shows to control DMX lights and moving heads, great software (but you know that)
Question: I'm having difficulty following the procedure to have analog audio entering the laptop to controlling a DMX function. Here's what I understand, haven't found previous forum or help menu information that connects the missing piece of information. Might just be me :) Got to be something simple!
- I have audio showing up on the Audio Level Meter in the (Inputs/Outputs)/Audio/Configuration page
- Confused what to select on the Virtual Console/Audio Triggers Configuration/Input page for External Input to have my audio show up on the Triggers frequency bands. I understand the Trigger Assign setup.

If you could point me in the right direction, Thanks!

badaboom: did you enable the audio widget? (left top corner)

Hi GGGss, thanks for your reply. So I watched tutorial videos and read the help file and came up with this set-up below. Still don't have audio triggered sequencing of my CUE LIST. I can manually advance through the CUE LIST items so that works. Is the problem in the AUDIO TRIGGER CONFIGURATION box where i need to select the analog audio input as the source? And haven't seen a picture anywhere but should the AUDIO TRIGGER WIDGET display active audio levels for all of the frequency bands if audio is getting to it?
Thanks, attached are pics of my set-up.

You don't need to enable the audio output.
If you preview the audio input and you get a signal, your audio widget should show the audio waves also. But you need to go into produce-mode and enable the audio widget. It has to open the audio stream and start analysing it.

Thanks GGGss!
I follow what you are saying, only need to make one more change and it should all work. Sorry but don't understand "into produce-mode". I know there is DESIGN MODE to create and edit, and OPERATE MODE to run the lighting functions. Don't see a produce-mode mentioned in the glossary. Possible you could include a screen shot of enabling audio in produce-mode.
Again thanks for your time.

for others:
if the input is anabled as explained above

1. productive mode (red square instead of green arrow)
2. check upper left corner

and start working :-)
