color wheel and gobo wheel indexing?

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Creating a custom fixture for a generic moving head, and not sure how to properly put in the info for color wheel.
If I select color wheel it greys out the values and description.
If I treat it like a RGB fixture I can enter values/description, but can not see anything but a white indicator on the 2d visualizer.
Also, scripts might be easier if using Indexing (like in freestylerDMX)
Also need to do the same for the GOBO wheel.
Thanks
Tom

If I select color wheel it greys out the values and description.
If you select "Custom" for Preset (instead of Color Wheel) and then select "Color" or "Gobo" for Type, you can add Values and Descriptions.
A QLC Workspace is like a Bob Ross painting: "it's your world, you can create whatever you want!"

This doesn't help with the visualiser issue as QLC doesnt know what colour a value is supposed to actual represent. How do we fix this?
