Having only the logo for the Input/Output options may be confusing, as someone unfamiliar with the icons and protocols might not know what the actual name is to search for it online.

I, for example, never worked with DMX until yesterday, I never heard of Art-Net before, and I had no idea what it was.
However, by reading the output options on QLC+, I started looking into Art-Net and managed to understand it a little bit.
Had I started straight with QLC+ 5, and seen just its logo, it could have taken me a bit longer to piece together its name so I could search for it.
But I understand the desire to keep things as clean and simple as possible.
I don't mean to say what is right or wrong, just to express my opinion and experience that some logos might be confusing and slow beginners down slightly.
