Having only the logo for the Input/Output options may be confusing, as someone unfamiliar with the icons and protocols might not know what the actual name is to search for it online.
ArtNet, for example, has quite an odd icon, where one could interpret it as ArtNel, ArtNe, ArtNei, and such. It could be helpful to have "ArtNet" written in plain text next to or below the icon.
MIDI too could be mistaken for MIOI, MIQI, and such.

Please have a look here: it is, after all, the official and correct logo. https://art-net.org.uk/resources/art-net-specification/
A basic understanding and knowledge of the terms seem evident to me in a technical environment...
If you drive your car, you must know what petrol it runs on, right?

I didn't mean to say that the logo wasn't official, just that it might confuse a beginner.GGGss wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 1:38 pm Please have a look here: it is, after all, the official and correct logo. https://art-net.org.uk/resources/art-net-specification/

I, for example, never worked with DMX until yesterday, I never heard of Art-Net before, and I had no idea what it was.
However, by reading the output options on QLC+, I started looking into Art-Net and managed to understand it a little bit.
Had I started straight with QLC+ 5, and seen just its logo, it could have taken me a bit longer to piece together its name so I could search for it.
But I understand the desire to keep things as clean and simple as possible.
I don't mean to say what is right or wrong, just to express my opinion and experience that some logos might be confusing and slow beginners down slightly.
