Enabling/disabling audio input triggering with a switch or midi note

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Hello, new to QLC+ .

im coming from Lightkey and learning quickly. But ive been struggling to figure out how to do this which is easy in Lightkey,. id like an audio input (could even be a midi CC as im using separating audio analysis in Pure Data) to control the intensity of a light, but only when a switch is triggered or a midi note is sending ON. Once a different midi note or switch is pressed id like the audio triggering to stop. I thought maybe i could do this somehow using Solo windows but im just not there yet.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

You can use the external input configuration of the audio widget. This will need the signal twice to enable and disable it. There is no other way. You can only bind 1 external signal to the control.
