i have https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 13a0IFNJ0i that smoke machine, i built its profile as a hazer, and configure it like any other fixture.
but when i try to control it with qlc, it works for a minute and then i no longer able to make it work. on the same universe and same cable i can make the other fixtures work properly, one is a moving head and another is a flame thrower.
the hazer fixture lcd display have its display blinking between the dmx address and '- - - - - -' , the artnet dongle and the laptop are both on wifi, could this be the issue?

Chinese DMX fixtures are well known for not being DMX compliant... saying so - what if you put it on channel 1? Does it work longer than the stated 1 minute?
Thinking about this ... Is your smoker able to continuously produce smoke? If its a hazer or fazer, it might be.

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
