Modes don't work in Functions Manager

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Hi Everyone !

At first, sorry for my English, I use a translation tool. I'm a noob to QLC+ and I couldn't find my answer in the forum index.

I started creating scenes with a Stairville projector (Flood Panel 150).
I configured it in 8 channels to have the possibility of using the strobe and the predefined modes.

I had no problem creating simple scenes in Function Editor. For example, I created a scene where only the green LEDs light up. The LEDs light up in real time when I create my scene, everything works.
I can then create a button in the virtual console. No problem.

The problem is when I want to create a scene with the modes:
when I use the simple desk, the modes work (for example, if I place the "mode" fader between 25 and 49, the projector is fading between seven colors automatically).

On the other hand, if I do it in the functions manager, by creating a new scene, nothing happens: it doesn't work, the modes don't start.

Could you tell me where the problem could come from? Do I need to do anything other than scenes to activate modes?

Thank you for your feedback :-)

Can you share your project file and some info about your setup, OS, QLC+ version, etc?

Clément, welcome to the forum.

Are you sure that after changing values in the simple mode, the channel values are disabled again? (You must be sure there are no red crosses in simple mode.) Simple mode has the highest priority and overrules everything.
But send in your project + custom fixture definition, so we can check and help you.
