Real Name:

Hey there, I am new here so please dont roast me too hard if the problems I am reporting were already reported.

Bug:
1. Open a separate 3D-view window via right click, 2. Switch to virtual console and immediately back to fixtures & functions, 3. You see the 3D-view button right where it was. When pressing on it nothing happens but when then pressing on “2D view” the separate window closes itself.
Expected behavior:
The separate window is fixed and only when dragging the window back into the main window or closing it the “3D-view” button appears back at the bar at the top of the “fixtures & functions” window.

Bug:
Several fixtures disappeared from the 2D-view. Now they are shown in the fixture group list but I can not add them back. They are so far outside of the 2D-view grid that I can no longer see them or move them back into the grid. After changing the grid size they came back into the view and I was able to move them.
Expected behavior: It would be good to fix fixtures onto the defined grid size so that they can not get out. Alternatively, if free zooming in the grid view was possible, one could just zoom out.
Problem in that regard:
You can not zoom out with the scroll wheel the same way you can with the plus and minus buttons. They should behave the same and you should be able to zoom out way further with the scroll wheel.

Bug: undo virtual console page delete crash
Accidentally deleted a wrong page for the virtual console, then clicked “undo” which made the program crash. Sometimes nothing happens and only when switching to “fixtures & functions” the crash happens
Expected behavior:
Undo would reintroduce the deleted page.
Additional Information: Strg+z on windows does not do what it is supposed to do.

Bug: Language does not get saved
Expected behavior:
after selecting a language, this is the new standard language and only active changing reverts it back to the system language.

Bug:
In fixture group matrix: Dragging a fixture onto a already “filled” slot marks this slot red. When releasing the left mouse button now both fixtures are marked green and are moved together
Expected behavior:
Dragging and releasing a fixture onto a full slot would give a visual or audial feedback but would do nothing else. Marking would only be possible by pressing shift or strg

Bug:
In fixture group matrix it is possible to drag a fixture onto a non existant matrix slot. eg. when having a 8x1 grid and I pull a fixture onto the empty space where a slot in a 8x2 grid would be, the fixture "disappears" and only when making the size of the grid bigger you see that the fixture is in the slot that was not previously there.
Expected behavior:
non existant slots cant be filled up with fixtures.

Bug:
1. Open the matrix of a fixture group open (via. “inspect selected item”), 2. then close the fixture groups by clicking the corresponding button (the box). Now the group matrix is open but there is no intuitive option to close the menu it since the “i” button is gone (see attached picture 1)
Expected behavior:
Closing fixture groups closes any additional windows/overlays that correspond to the fixture group.

Visual bug:
picture 2. Self explanatory, the fader can be made smaller than the fader knob is wide

Visual bug:
picture 3. 2D-view can not be detached. Well it can be detached but only the grid can then be moved, the fixtures stay at the place where the new window appeared.

Visual bug:
When moving the program from one screen (4k, 16:9, 150% windows scaling) to a secondary monitor (1080p, 19:10, 100% windows scaling) everything gets weird. (see picture 4)

Visual Problem:
When moving the virtual console made for one screen (4k, 16:9, 150% windows scaling) to a secondary monitor (1080p, 19:10, 100% windows scaling) the virtual console cant be used, properly since only ¼ of the console is accesible at a time.
Abstract description:
There is no option to use a project made for a 4k screen to a 1080p one since the virtual console is of a fixed size, thus everything would need to be moved manually to fit the smaller window size.
Idea:
Add a “scale” dropdown menu in the basic properties of the virtual console in which one can set a scaling method. I would need 0.25, for migration from 1440p to 1080p 0.5 and so on.
