I have a fixture with adjustable rate strobe. I have successfully created a screen and assigned a flash scene button on the virtual console to allow the strobe to fire at a given rate and stop when released.
I am aware that I could repeat this process with various buttons at predefined rates, but is there a way where I can have the ability to vary the rate of the strobe while it's running?

1st: is it the inbuilt strobe rate you want to play with, or is it QLC+ that sends out alternating signals?
In the first case, you could use a slider (and limit its upper and lower limit) and play with that.
If the latter is true: here is where the Speed Dial Widget comes into play
Within the widget you can create presets, add fixed timing etc...
