Hello, everyone,
I wanted to ask if any of you know where I can find the log of the programme when it goes wrong, because during the night at the disco, it happens to me that if I give a lot of input (such as blacking out some beams) the programme stops working and I am forced to restart the PC to get it running again.

As per the user manual included in QLCplus, you can set the log level with "--debug 3" and direct that into a file with the "--log log.txt" to a log.txt file.

But if you say your PC freezes and needs a restart, I would rather scan the memory, check the thermal status and heat glue on the processor or try an update of the PC which may be overloaded. If QLCplus runs into a problem, the window usually closes at least when all tasks have fininshed (e.g. all audio finshes playing).

Also check if the connections which send the light commands e.g. USB are stable and can handle the load (e.g. check that the USB-2.0 bus does not need to feed more than 500mA) or the peripheral devices may hang up due to lack of power supply.

Thank you for your answer, but I misunderstood myself, it's not the pc to crash but the program, in fact if your go on task manager you see qlc process with not responding, this when you give it too much input for example ON/OFF of lights

My QLC+ installs (multiple) work very steady. There was one case where it kept running continuously for 2 months. No problems.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
