Hi to all ! I`m working in a project that will use 2 Fresnell Eurolite LED THA-100. The think is that in my studio I don't have that models, I only have some generic multicolor Pars. The question is: could I program the show for the proyect in my studio using the Pars I have and when I go to the venue replace the fixtures in my QLC proyect with the Fresnels without a lot of problems ? I know the pars and Fresnels are completely different and they use different number of channels and different responses to qlc signals but I wanted to ask if you guys think is doable or it'll be a complete mess.
Thanks to all for your help !!!

* Create an safety backup
* use the Fixture Remapping feature https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... remap.html
* connect the 'old' channels with the new
- don't use inbuilt programs of your fixtures -> these won't work of course...

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

If you happen to know how these Eurolite Fresnels are set up(1 or 3 channel mode), I would advise to not use your LED PARs at home at all, but program your show with the correct fixtures in place in your workspace already, using the DMX preview. You might have to adjust brightness etc. later in the venue, but IMHO that's much less hassle than remapping from totally different fixtures.
YMMV, just my 2 cents...
