Hello!
I am experiencing some issues with the usb to dmx dongle and QLC+ 4.12.6. When I change the dimmer value, halogen spot changes brightness with about 0,5 second delay and it can see it stutter (flicker). I tried to change usb ports and it did not help.
QLC dmx monitor values are changing fluently. UDMX output says "good" 30hz timer. I am using newly installed debian (not Ubunto) OS.
Do I have to do some kind of fine tuning? What could be the solution?
Thank you for your time in advance!

Can you please confirm if the issue is present on 4.12.4 or not? Thanks

Sorry for the delay but today I tried version 4.12.4 as you requested and I had same issues.
I tried to put USB hub in between and delay even doubled. Now it was around 1s for fixtures to refresh and get to the new brightness.
I am using older motherboard. Could this be USB controller issue?

You can lower your frequency like this:

But not for the uDMX plugin it seems, the manual talks about hidden/unexposed config here:

Hello again!
I tested some things and I have some questions. On one older computer (linux Mint), the udmx dongle is working fine, but on all other (newer) computers it just does not - Delayed 0.5s reaction (stuttering).
I tested multiple QLC+ versions, multiple OS, multiple computers (laptop, tower PC, Rock5B SBC).
I compared USB details (lsusb) and QLC+ config and nothing stands out or is different. The only difference is that working computer is using little older version of libusb.
System timer accouracy is labeled Good and it is running at 30hz on every system. I did not change any frequency in config or regedit.
First question is what should I compare or search for to find differences between working and not working systems to solve the problem?
Also I read about master frequency, uDMX frequency, FPS... What is all that and where can I learn about the details? Maybe it will help me solve the issue.

Then lower the DMX frequency to say 15Hz and lower the number of uDMX channels transmitted to 128. This should solve your flickering problem.
The thing is that it is your computer's CPU who has to take care of the timing of the DMX signal train. If your CPU doesn't has enough resources, the timing may be off and flickering occurs.
This document helps you where to find the config files and what to put inside of them to change the uDMX timing. https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... .html#uDMX
