I am not seeing anything on using Midi clock from Ableton to set tempos of widgets. Is this possible? I currently use Ableton tracks, and I have a track with midi notes that effect QLC+ widgets. I use loopMIDI to link Ableton to QLC+.....But if I want a chase to beat to the tempo, I have to have a separate widget for each song, and make sure the tempo matches. It would be really cool to set the chase tempo to MIDICLOCK, and then get that clock data from Ableton. Is there a way to do this currently? I'm pretty new to QLC+...
QLC+ has no problem running my lights from my midi track...But I don't want to have to program entire chases in Ableton just so it will sync. That defeats the purpose of QLC+ chases.

Make use of the Loopback Magic.
Create a dimmer channel in a Loopback universe
Create a scene for this dimmer (255)
Place a button on your VC
Bind the scene to it
Bind your midi tempo external input
Place a timing widget on your VC
as Tap-control use the dimmer in loopback universe
have the timing widget to control whatever has to be synced
Did I forget something?
