Hello everyone,
first of all thanks for all the work.
I like version 5 B2 very much.

Unfortunately, I can't find a function from version 4.

How can I change the controller properties in version 5?
More precisely, set direct values (levels) to a controller on the virtual console? See the screenshot from version 4.

Thanks very much
Kind regards

I also wondered when testing sliders in v5 VC.

If you switch to Edit mode (paper/pencil icon) and select a Slider, you see the modes in the properties field, it's just that Level got translated to "Stufe".

That's confusing to say the least. It should (as a well known technical term) remain untranslated/capitalized like in v4, or we can come up with a better word, maybe "Werte".

Anyway, when you select this mode, there appears a new entry to select channels, in the section below.

Likewise, Playback slider mode got renamed to Adjust in v5, and shows as "Anpassen", which makes zero sense here too, I even find the english word confusing. it should really make clear that you only can attach functions in this mode. Playback wasn't exactly intuitive IMO, but there was a tooltip popping up in v4 that explained it well.

Thanks very much.
But that's not what I'm looking for.
I can't find the item/function I'm looking for.
Here is another screenshot from V4

And what item/function would that be?

I see that a couple of refined features are missing, like range selection by channel capability, or channel selection by group.

Please explain what you are missing exactly, I can't quite follow...

Hello,
Thanks.
But this menu doesn't appear for me at all.
If I click on the 3 lines, the window gets bigger, but I don't have the menu like yours.

See the screenshot

I just realized that this indeed doesn't work in beta2.

Latest Linux Appimage from Test Versions gives me the options tab for fader modes.

@edogawa "Adjust" is not equal to "Playback". It's much more powerful, that's why I renamed it.
Try for example to attach an EFX or a Video. It will show many attributes that were not possible to control at runtime with v4
