In version 4xx on Windows 10, I couldn't open a show file by double clicking it. Had to open show file from within the app. Then someone on this forum said to reinstall the app and "run as administrator, and that solved the problem.
Same problem with 5.0 b2, but even running as administrator does not help.
Ideas?

You have to create a sym link
* browse to a project file,
* right click, select properties
* look at 'open with'
* change and set to qlcplus-qml.exe

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

You can also create shortcuts which launch QLC+ with a specific showfile. Handy if you want startup options like full screen etc.

For QLC+4, in my experience file association works just fine in Windows10.
With v5 no dice, indeed. I can associate *.qxw with C:\QLC+\qlcplus-qml.exe but it doesn't seem to evaluate the commandline, just starts with the beta warning and empty.
