Hi all,
I have an existing show file that uses 2 different fixtures - 1x LED pars and 1x LED floods. These fixtures need to be replaced and the new fixtures have different channel configurations - ie. Old LED floods are in 6 channel mode Dim,RGBW, Strobe and the new LED floods are in 10ch mode - Dim, RGBWAUV, Strobe, Auto, Fine. The new Floods don't have a 6 channel mode.
Is there a simple way of substituting the new fixtures into the show file, without having to re-write the entire show file?
Thank you
Swapping fixtures

Welcome to the forum,
Did you try the Fixture Remapping tool? https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... remap.html
Before you do, I'd suggest creating a master backup or something you can fall back onto. Fixture Remapping needs some attention and having a backup helps enormously.
(TopTip: even create a 2nd backup and place it well aside...)
You won't be able to use the new A+Uv channels of course (because these weren't present in the old show)
