Set start position (tilt & pan) of my moving heads

Hey

Everytime I boot up my moving heads, they are at random start positions. When running an EFX, the pattern is not so smooth. If I want to obtain that, I have to manually force the heads to point the same way - but this can't be the only way to do it and also it seems like it's not great for the motor inside.

Is there such a feature in QLC+ to set a start position using pan and tilt for every moving head in my setup? :-)

Regards
Mike

What moving heads do you use? By default, Qlc+ emits 0s o all channels - that should set the heads to one of the extremes on both axes.
It is suspicious if they end in random position.

And on top of QLC+ emitting 0-zeros, the heads should reset to know their 0-position.
If they don't behave like that, you might fear that the end position switches inside the head are faulty.
Also, on some types of heads, you can mimic a reset by setting a specific DMX value for a number of seconds. The head will soft reset PAN/TILT.

I see they are working as expected now. Setting pan/tilt to 0, position them both at the same angel.
Thank you both :-)
