Hello All,

Having issues with a chain of two generic RGB par lights https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D778PLC.

I can control each light fine on their own (while connected together in a chain) but when I try to send a single to both at the same time the first one starts flashing.

I tried changing cables, adding a terminator at the end, no luck.

Any Ideas?

Thanks for the help,
Ozro

Looks like the channel has something to do with the issue, perhaps the manufacturer has extra channels not listed in the manual. I increased the address seperation by 20 and the issue went away. Guess an FYI~ for anyone else having a similar issue.

So i'd check:
  • the fixture definition against the manual and make sure all the channels are defined in the definition. Sometimes people miss things.
  • you are using the right "mode" defined for the fixture, and the fixture is also set at the right mode ( 9 chan vs 15 ..etc..) this is a common mistake.
