I came across this project which is like to try for an LED matrix.
I have 6x 4m strips; 30 LEDs/m for a total of 720 LEDs. At RGB that makes it 720x3=2160 channels.
How many channels does QLC+ support?
Secondly glancing through the documentation I didn't see direct audio sync support. Say I have a playlist running on Spotify I would like the software to analyse the audio signal and extract different frequencies such as a bass to trigger lights. Is that easily possible?
Number of supported channels / audio sync

Welcome to the forum,
Channels: endless n# of universes as long as your processor is powerful enough. (Just kidding: projects with 30 universes have been reported with no hiccups: that is 15.360 channels)
There is the audio widget. Will it analyse your audio stream: NO, will it react to audio levels on different frequency bands: YES
Easy? Depends on the time you want to invest exploring QLC+. I would say yes - very easy in comparison to the big guys.

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
