In my set-up I have 10 pars. I have selected a couple of them for left / right / front an rear., which works fine.
But i would also like to be able to control them individualy in VC.
I would like to have 10 buttons (one for each par)
and a set of 6 faders for 6 colours). If button 1 is selected the faders will respond to par 1 if button 2 is selected , the buttons will respond to par 2 etc
.
I have tried to achieve this with two universerses and a loopback but not succesfull so far.
Any ideas?
select a par in VC and then control it with a set of faders

Using a lot of magic, you could achieve this...
BUT, what has to happen to the others (not under the focus of your buttons). Do they stay in the previous state? This won't be possible.
Do you merely want to set a look on stage and tweak it?
Or tell us a bit to what use you want this? Maybe we can come up with other solutions.

I want to be able to just select 1 par or a group of pars (e.g. par 3,4,5) and tune it in the colour I want.
then deselect the and select another par for tuning.
( by the way: the pars are just a part of my complete set-up)
Apart from this I have created a few groups ( pars left/ ricght /front and rear) which I can control as a group.
What I want to achieve is set up a basic 'picture' with the groups (front left right and rear) and then tweak some individual pars by selecting them. On the left hand site I have the groups and on the right hand side I want the 'par selector.
The frames startpar ( should be par 1) and par 2 are the frames that I want to select with the button in the par selector.
In the end I want to minimize the individual par frames and control them from the par selector.
then deselect the and select another par for tuning.

Hmmmmmm
This is a feature which is built into the function editor in QLC+ 5. You could give that a try.
Otherwise you may need (magic) to create a bunch of RGB Matrixes for each group of pars, then use animation windows with RGB controls and a loopback universe to map them to sliders.
Let us know how it goes. Might end up being a feature request.

Hi,
You could do it with Frame pages
For each par a page and you can cycle through
it is also possible to map midi buttons to the pages to select them

This is a lot closer to what you need.
