Has anyone used this DMX adapter? They're very proud it uses the FTDI Chipset. Looks like ENTTEC uses the same chipset.

Is it any good? Sure is cheap. Also, can multiple of them be used together for a multiverse?

ENTTEC uses official FTDI chips, this device might be using clones. Just be careful when you update your drivers because a while back FTDI purposely bricked any non-official chips.

I haven't tried running multiple FTDI outputs at once. But it does put more load on your system.

The best USB Experience I've had has been with an ENTTEC DMX USB Pro MKII, followed closely by the ENTTEC OpenDMX USB. But I started with a uDMX (or similar).

I'd highly recommend the Enttec option but if you're on a budget this might work.
