Are frame pages buggy when isolating themselves?

Hello,

I am trying since a while to set something up but can't figure out how.

I want to be able to switch between "modes" where the same input does different things. Normally this should be straightforward with the frame pages, but it seems that when going into operate mode, the input controls ALL pages, so need to scan through the pages, so they "get informed" that they get disabled, and only then it can work.

Can this be fixed?
