Tested with 2 different midi controllers and the same file adapted to qlc+4, in qlc+5 I don't have any feedback from the cue list,
eg. the play button that tells me cue list is active.

good morning,
I'm preparing a VC and I've noticed this issue:
buttons and cue list send a feedback if I click on it on the screen,
not when I push the linked button on the midi device.

Which controller are you using?
By feedback are you referring to button highlight or something else?
Please explain some more the issue otherwise I cannot reproduce it and fix it.

hi,
it's the same issue reported last summer, all the controllers I've tried were working in v.4,
nanoKontrol2, Launch Control and X-Touch_mini.

Here the last file used with X-Touch_mini.
Cue List and few buttons are assigned, on the second row you'll find "smoke 34" and "smoke 51", they're all mapped to X-Touch layer B.
(yes to overcome the frame issue I've put all the controls on the page)
. if I click on the play or smoke button on the screen the corresponding controller button lights up correctly.
. if I press the same button on the controller, the function starts correctly (cue or smoke) but the feedback does not work > the controller button doesn't light up.

Another issue related to external controls:
in the beginning I've assigned these keyboard shortcuts to control the Cue List
"]" next
"[" prev
"ctrl+]" play/pause
"ctrl+[" stop
but then I've removed them because I decided to use these shortcuts for the video program, as you can see they do not show up in the Edit/External Controls.
They're still working when v.5 is the focused window and also the midi buttons feedback works > eg when I use these keyboard shortcuts the Cue List responds to theses "deleted" external controls and the midi controller button lights up again.
thanks
