Hi, unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce this crash.
However I know for sure there is a nasty randomic behaviour when moving frames.

maybe I wasn't enough clear, try to follow these steps:
. you've opened the file and you're in edit mode;
. you copy the empty frame and directly paste it - with the original empty frame still selected >> v.5 crashes always for me.
if I copy the frame and click on the page (the empty frame is deselected now) yes I can paste it but then I fall back in this issue
