So I purchased some ILDA chinese lasers which are awesome, but in order to not have eye contact I've had to shoot them up at an angle that just doesn't look nice with most of the patterns. Is there some way of limiting the range thru dmx or is this something that you'd need a program like Pangolin or something to make your own patterns that stay above crowd height yet keep the laser level with the ground?
Much thanks!
Jeremy

1st: Are you certified? In certain regions of the world you need certification to operate lasers.
With patterns, you mean 'the inbuilt patterns' right? I'm not aware that these can be limited.
If you are talking about QLC+ EFX: you can try to use a channel modifier, to limit (tweak) the lower radiation threshold of the beam.
Other software(s) have these specific possibilities, to my knowledge.

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
