VST for Ableton Live?

Is there a VST plugin that I can't find, or an easy workaround to get the lights into the DAW? I am trying to add it as a VST, but I am not having any luck

Welcome to the QLC+ forum,
Ableton questions won't be answered I guess...
And the quote "Getting lights into the DAW" makes me wonder... usually you'd send out midi notes to the light desk and then you can control lights.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

I'm looking for the same answer here, have you had any luck?

There's a Max4life device that works quite nicely. I wouldn't know of any VST.

btree - Would you happen to know what Max4Live device "works quite Nicely" for sending MIDI out of a Ableton track and into QLC+ ?

This s great... the original question "How do I get the lights into the DAW" is completely unclear/ambiguous.

GGGss asks what this means, and gets no answer, while giving a hint how things usually are set up.

No reaction whatsoever, but someone interested in the answer to the first question, and people talking about some Max4Live device... what the heck are you trying to achieve?

It would help if people took the time and expressed their problems or solutions with enough detail to be able to follow.

I for one have sucessfully controlled QLC+ from Qlab4, Live, or hardware MIDI controllers, It's well documented in the manual.
