I noticed a small detail that could make fade out of the audio playback function better
Example: I am using the audio playback function to play an mp3 song file.
Lets say that i set the fade in for 2 seconds and the fade out for 2 seconds.
When i press play you hear the fade in, but if i stop it, it doesn't fade out: i need to wait until all the way at the end of the song for it to fade out. if i stop it manually it just suddenly stops abruptly. It would be nice that if when i pressed stop it would fade out from that point instead.
Thanks!
I would love to see this implemented,

Currently, the only way to do what you're asking, is to use a loopback. I use them to fade preshow & intermission music. You would need a separate loopback for each audio function you want to fade.
You can get a loopback to work on individual entries in a Chase, but the Chase entry will not move on to the next line in the Chase until the Duration ends, but once the duration ends, the next cue will automatically play. If the Duration is infinite, you'll have to click Next to trigger the next cue in the Chase.

Obviously you'll have to replace my sound files.
The Loopbacks are defined in Inputs/Outputs in Universes 2 & 3.
The fixtures for the loopbacks are configured under fixtures.
There are Sounds, Chases and Scenes defined in Functions.
Everything else is defined in the Virtual Console.
