hello,
on my pc - Gnome 3.36 - the Pause Cue List doesn't "pause" the running fade between cues, it only freezes the cue list once the running fade has terminated.
Is it the right scope of this function?
I don't understand much the benefit of it, if I think of a framework with several cue lists controlled by the same button, then when the cue list is in pause the next button is affecting anyway the next step in the list - and I've set the properties to "do nothing".
Maybe someone have a better example for this function?
Cue List Pause?

Hello Giacomo,
Pause should indeed pause the running crossfade as you expect. At least it does here on my computer, I just tried in KDE Plasma, LXQt, Openbox and IceWM, and also on the RPi / Raspbian buster (LXDE).
I don't know what's going on, but maybe you also should try a different DE?

hello again,
I'm not wired to a real output lighting system, I'm watching the output window.
Qlc+ 4.12.5-git / Launch Control XL / Gnome
For me the Pause - Cue List - doesn't freeze the transition but only the Cue progress bar.
I'm attaching a test file.
Anyway, as stated in the manual:
what should be the goal to freeze just the "fade in"?
I would be glad to hear someone that uses this feature, I'm really curious.
thanks.

I made a quick test with 2 fixtures connected. I can confirm that the DMX output is not paused on cue list pause click, The cuelist progress bar is paused but the DMX output runs to the final scene values on fixture monitor and in DMX Output to the fixtures.
Tested on a spare laptop with Ubuntu 21.04, QLC+ 4.12.3 installed from deb package on KDE Plasma desktop.
On my main laptop with Ubuntu 20.04, KDE Plasma, QLC+ 4.12.5-git, Qt5.15.2, not tested with real fixtures i get the same results.
EDIT: A quick test with an audio cuelist on pause the audio playing is paused and resumed after pressing pause again.

I have changed the code to support pause on Scenes.
Please help testing if this is what you needed.

For me it's not the right beheaviour:
the cue fading out doesn't freeze but only the cue fading in.
Pressing pause should freeze booth the cues.
Thanks for having a look at it, as it's now I don't understand the utility of this pause because in reality the stage is going just dark, I always go back a step instead of pausing the crossfade.

I can confirm that the pause only freezes the fade in and the duration if the duration is not set to infinite. It's not freezing the fade out. Tested on Ubuntu 20.04 and QLC+ 4.12.5-GIT with Qt5.15.2.

I have applied another patch.
Please test and let me know if there is any regression and everything works as expected now.

I just tested this patch it seems that now fade in and fade out are paused and restarted as expected. Maybe later I'll test with a real fixtures. An audio cuelist is working well too.
