Hi All,

I am hoping this isn't a silly question:

In the Virtual Console, whenever I click a scene-assigned button, the button holds and doesn't deactivate until I click it again. I am of the understanding that if the scene assigned impacts LTP channels, the scene/button will be deselected while retaining latest DMX values.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbN2vi9SeVw at 11.45 best explains what I expect to see. Is this possibly an update following this video's release?

I am running 4.12.3 on Mac OSX Big Sur.

Works as intended...
With HTP channels, the buttons will keep their status; ergo to disengage, you will have to click them again (or use flash). HIGHest Takes Priority.
Using LTP will send out the latest scene info and forgets about its existence. LATEST Takes Priority.

And what exactly would you like to see in it?

Thanks for the reply.

The channels themselves have no issue and work as you've explained. My query is moreso directed towards the functionality of the VC Button. Take for example a Button with an assignment of a scene pushing DMX value 200 to the Pan Channel (LTP). When I click this button, it stays selected. Even after the DMX value is met following a Fade In. However, when I look at the referenced video, a similar scene (Heads Up/Heads Down) becomes deselected when the scene is completed.

I hope this explains the issue.

The behaviour of the VC button does not correspond with what can be seen in the video.
You are right.

The example project is attached.
The instructional video shows a button that deselects automatically after the scene has run.
In the sample project, the buttons stay selected.
